Hyderabad: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday said he will unveil his party’s political action plan on the party’s foundation day on March 14.

In an informal interaction with the mediapersons here, he said that the JSP would organise the party’s first plenary on the eve of Jana Sena’s anniversary.

The party leaders will finalise political agenda including contesting in 2019 elections and joining hands with other like-minded parties, if any, in the meeting. The Telugu film hero- turned political leader reiterated that his party would continue its struggle for Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan asserted that all political forces should fight unitedly against the Centre to fulfill the Andhra people’s aspirations. People were already agitated over the State being deprived of the assurances made in the Reorganisation Act.

He warned that the TDP and BJP will face people’s wrath in the next elections.  He opined that there would be no use if the TDP withdrew its members from the Union Cabinet now.

He however said that AP would have got all the support from the Centre if the TDP had withdrawn its members from the Central Cabinet four years ago. Pawan said he is yet to decide on forging poll alliance for the 2019 elections. He declined to comment on whether he would be CM candidate in AP in future.

Pawan also made it clear that he will not go to Delhi and fight for Special Status at this juncture. He opined that the Centre is not ready to succumb to any pressure with the agitations and dharnas launched by Andhra parties for Special Status in New Delhi.

Extending his support to the Third Front proposed by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the Jana Sena leader said that the front will help in ensuring justice to the backward States which are denied Central assistance for development.
