Two TDP ministers submit resignations to Modi over AP Special Status
Following the decision of withdrawing the support from the union cabinet over the AP Special Status, the two TDP ministers Ashok Gajapathi Raju and YS Chowdhary submitted their resignation letters on Thursday, later met the Prime Minister and handed over their resignations.

Earlier, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu claimed that he tied to reach Modi to inform him about the decision taken over the cabinet ministers, but he was unreachable at that time.
However Prime Minister Narendra Modi Spoke to AP CM amid rising tension over the alliance.Wherein Chandrababu Naidu clearly explained to Modi about the reasons which lead to the minister’s resignation
The decision was taken after the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's statement that, the Centre is happy to give funds to Andhra Pradesh, but cannot give it special status demand.
