35 Sub-Inspectors transferred

Vijayawada: In a major reshuffle in the city police department on Sunday, 35 Sub-Inspectors (SIs) of Vijayawada police commissionerate have been transferred. The decision of reshuffling 35 SIs was reportedly taken after the Police Establishment Board's meeting.

The meeting made suggestions about the transfers.  The board further made certain recommendations on functioning of SIs. The transferred SIs will take charge in their respective stations on Monday after reporting to  City Police CommissionerGautam Sawang.
