Degree student commits suicide 

Kadapa: A  student of SDHR Degree college located in Rayachoti town who was pursuing BSC (MPC) course committed suicide by jumping under train near RIMS hospital area in Kadapa in the  wee hours of Sunday.  

The deceased was identified as Thanuku Guru Prasad (18) of Dinnepalle village of Sambapalle mandal. Police suspected that domestic problems might have forced him to take the extreme step. According to the police, the mother of the deceased student is  working as maid servant in Kuwait.

His father T Janardhan is a small farmer. The student was staying at his sister’s house in Kalakada of Chittoor district. He used to come to the college daily from Kalakada by bus .  Around 7 am on Sunday some passersby noticed the body of the student at rail track and informed to the police.
