Pawan to make key announcement on March 14 Acharya Nagarjuna University public meet
Guntur: Jana Sena president and popular actor Pawan Kalyan said here on Monday that he would make a key announcement at a public meeting to be held on March 14 at the Bible Mission Grounds near Acharya Nagarjuna University.
When the reporters asked him his response on the injustice meted to the state by the Centre in the recent Budget, he said that he will respond in the public meeting and explain to people about the assurances given by the Centre in the AP Reorganisation Act.
Pawan Kalyan said that though he would take new persons into the party fold, priority to the senior leaders would continue. He added that he would appoint 12 official spokespersons for the party to campaign about various issues on behalf of the party. He further said that he would give clarity on party activities in the March 14 public meeting at ANU.
Replying to a question, he stated that he would stay in Amaravati till Ugadi. Pawan said that he always wanted to construct a house for him and his wish is going to become a reality now. He is constructing the house to come closer to the party activists and people in the AP, he added.
He felt services of both the young and seniors are necessary for the smooth functioning of the party. When the reporters asked about his properties, he replied that he earned money by working hard but did not loot.
He said that at an appropriate time, he would announce the list of his properties. “My father was not a Chief Minister. He built everything with his hard work,” he said and added that he had no disputes with anybody and would fight on people’s problems.
Recalling his association with the town of Mangalagiri, he said that his father worked as a constable here. He said that now Mangalagiri town has turned into a centre for politics. He said that party activists were facing problems to meet him in Hyderabad. “If I shift here, it will be convenient for them to meet me,” he said.
Later, the JSP chief went to Bible Mission Grounds at ANU and reviewed arrangements for public meeting. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan performed Homam along with his wife Anna Lezhneva amidst Vedic hymns. After performing the ritual, he laid the foundation for the construction of his house on two acre in the Sahiti Elevates Styles at Mangalagiri. “The new house will have two meeting halls for party meetings,” he said.
Speaking to the Hans India, Sahiti Elevates Styles General Manager Vara Prasad said that they would construct the house for Pawan Kalyan within two months according to his tastes. “Pawan has to finalise the plan for his house. We are highly fortunate because Pawan Kalyan is constructing his house in the middle of our villas at Mangalagiri town,” he said.
Jana Sena party leaders invited very few party leaders for Pawan Kalyan foundation laying ceremony. Sources in the party said that Pawan Kalayan wanted to perform his programme in private. However, the information was leaked. Police made elaborate security arrangements for the programme.
