Kadapa:  Following the directions of the state government,  the district administration is making efforts for implementation of  ‘e’ office in all departments in the district. According to sources, at least 200 files are proposed to be processed every day pertaining to various departments across the district. This will be a mammoth task and burden to the official machinery.

In this circumstances with the initiative taken by Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu, e- office system was proposed to be implemented in all the districts for the convenience of the public. According to the District Collector T Babu Rao Naidu  ‘e’ office procedure will yield  fruitful results as the beneficiaries would have authentic information over their representations submitted to the officials.  This procedure will help for maintenance of files  including the name and designation of the officer concerned from top to bottom.

He said that as many as 5,740 users enrolled under e- office procedure in as many as 117 offices across the district and he had directed the officials to prepare detail report  over requirement of officials to work with e office.

However, Collector admitted that there was poor response from the officials over implementation of Bio Metric Attendance(BMA) in the government offices due to various reasons including technical reasons as there was just 35 per cent of them following the system.  The BMA would be implemented 100 per cent in future. It would be made applicable to out sourcing employees working with all departments in the district.
