Chandrababu Naidu to tour State after conclusion of Assembly Budget Session

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that he will visit every district after the conclusion of the ongoing Budget session of the State Assembly. Naidu disclosed this during a teleconference on Neeru-Pragati on Monday.

He stated that there should be no interruption to the development projects despite non-cooperation from the Central government.  He said the State could be developed by putting in determined efforts in a constructive manner.  

Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to work hard to achieve sustainable double digit growth. “We have to fight against the Centre for the rights of the State government. At the same time, we should work for development and welfare of the State,” Chandrababu Naidu said. 

Despite deficit rainfall, the agriculture sector in the State achieved commendable growth rate, he added. The sustainable double digit growth in the economy could be possible through coordination and cooperation among interdisciplinary departments in the State government, he explained. 

Be alert on heat waves in summer:  Forecasting summer problems, Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to be alert on the predictions on 
heat waves. 

He also suggested to be updated on the sudden burst of clouds in the summer. Both these would damage standing crops in the State and also may cause health problems to the public. Hence he suggested that the officials must take precautionary measures, well in advance.

He also directed the officials to ensure that there is no drinking water shortage during summer. District Collectors, Commissioners of Rural Development, Agriculture, Real Time Governance officials, Irrigation, Forest, Urban Development and other departmental officials participated.
