RTC hikes house Rent Allowance in Srikakulam, Machilipatnam and Chittoor

Ongole: The National Mazdoor Union state chairman RVVSD Prasad, president Challa Chandraiah have said in Ongole that the APSRTC increased the House Rent Allowance (HRA) to 20 per cent for employees in Srikakulam, Machilipatnam and Chittoor towns.

They said that the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the corporation issued orders to this effect on Tuesday for implementation from January 1, 2018.

They also said that women staff who worked on March 8, on the Women’s Day, can avail a compensatory holiday between July to September 2018. The order considering the day as special holiday for women is released on Tuesday.

The NMU leaders including the working president PV Ramana Reddy, Vice- President DSP Rao, general secretary Y Srinivasa Rao and state committee members thanked the VC & MD of APSRTC for the orders.
