Special status possible only with YSRCP
Vijayawada: Machilipatnam YSRCP parliamentary constituency in-charge Kolusu Parthasarathi said that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy alone can secure Special Category Status (SCS) to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media in connection with the celebration of YSRCP formation day at the party office here on Monday, he said that the party was fighting against corruption and anarchy in the state since the time of its inception.
He also said that development of backward communities would be possible only if YSRCP chief becomes the Chief Minister. All the party leaders and activists should bring YSRCP into power and strive to make Jaganmohan Reddy as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019, he added. Party leader Malladi Vishnu said that YSRCP brought many radical reforms in the past seven years.
He said that the ideals of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy would be the agenda of YSRCP. He stated that this was a crucial period and the party activists should be cautious and toil hard to bring the party to power.
Earlier, Parthasarathi has hoisted the party flag. MLA G Srikanth Reddy, party leaders Rajendranath Reddy, Samineni Udayabhanu, Vellampalli Srinivas, Jogi Ramesh, P Somi Naidu, Bopanna Bava Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
