Women And child welfare centre inspected

Visakhapatnam: Commissioner of Police T Yoganand, Joint Commissioner of Police D Nagendra Kumar and ACP DVVSN Murthy have visited the King George Hospital (KGH) and inspected the Women and Child Welfare Centre at Gynaecology Department on Monday. During their visit, the Commissioner interacted with the staff and verified the schemes implementing in the Centre.

Yoganand has assured of support from the police including issuance of Research Forensic Scientific Lab (RFSL) reports. The Commissioner instructed the staff to send monthly reports of the activities conducted at ‘Centre’ and submit the pending cases report regarding victim compensation and list of cases pending in the court under the domestic violence. Superintendent G Arjuna, Deputy CSRMO KSLG Sastry and ARMO B Bangarayya were present.
