Officials told to submit bills

Visakhapatnam: As the government was implementing Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) from next fiscal, Deputy Director of District Treasury V Sudhakar informed that officials should submit all bills, including mid-day meals, for clearance to the treasury by March 20 and the bills submitted after the March 20 would not be accepted.

As the new CFMS would be introduced next financial year, the bills in the present financial year should be clear. In view of the implementation of the CFMS, payments would be completed by March 26, the deputy director said.
