Pawan’s targetting of CM reflects his immaturity: Palle

Anantapur: Government chief whip and former minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy on Thursday denounced the criticism of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son N Lokesh by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.

In a press release on Thursday, Raghunatha Reddy said the script read out by Pawan at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur on party’s foundation day was that of the BJP. “It also reflected his immaturity and his political shallowness,” he added.

In press release, he stated that the drinking water scarcity problems that are likely to intensify in the summer should be tackled on a war footing. 
He pointed out 430 villages in Puttaparthi constituency, Madakasira, Penukonda, Dharmavaram and Kadiri area were identified with severe drinking water scarcity in summer every year.

He said the attention of panchayat raj minister N Lokesh had been drawn in the state Assembly during question hour over the issue.Raghunatha Reddy said the minister promised to replace the age old pipelines for increasing the capacity of supplying 40,000 litres of water per day in place of old pipes having a capacity to supply only 20,000 litres per day in his constituency. 

Stating that the water levels in several borewells have reached rock bottom, he appealed to Lokesh for releasing of Rs 30 crore worth drinking water proposals sent by collector Veera Pandian to the government.
