Govt not releasing funds for Arogya Sree: JUDA

Visakhapatnam: The Junior Doctors Association alleged that the Arogya Sree programme had failed as the government is not releasing the funds. Therefore, the private hospitals are not admitting the poor and sending them to the government hospitals, pointed out Junior Doctors Association president Mukhesh Kumar.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, Mukesh said the poor patients at private hospitals were being sent back to the government hospitals without performing necessary tests for the treatment as the state government schemes had failed to clear the bills. He further stated that medicos were attending emergency cases across the state.
