Amaravati: TDP state president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao on Thursday condemned the comments made by the Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on the TDP government and IT minister Nara Lokesh. Interacting with the media at media point at the Assembly, he asked why Pawan Kalyan had targeted TDP government instead of questioning Prime minister Narendra Modi for not granting the Special Category Status.

He alleged that Pawan Kalyan had read the script written by some others in the public meeting held on Wednesday. He said the TDP government is implementing many welfare schemes in spite of deficit budget but Pawan is targeting the state government and levelling false allegations of corruption.

Pointing out that Pawan Kalyan had not spoken against the TDP during the last four years, Venkata Rao asked why he is now targeting the TDP government when Naidu had been fighting for the SCS and for the rights of the five crore Telugu people.  He said it was wrong to criticise the TDP government when the CM was struggling to get justice to the state.
