Rajamahendravaram:  YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) city co-ordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao has demanded a CBI enquiry against Minister Nara Lokesh on the allegations levelled by Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan at a public meeting held on March 14th. The allegations made by Pawan Kalyan are serious as he worked with TDP for four years, he said.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Friday, Suryaprakasa Rao has said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu should ask for CBI enquiry, if he really wants to get clean chit to his son and also to prove his honesty. People are believing the allegations made by the JSP chief against Minister Nara Lokesh, the YSRCP leader pointed out.

“Former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy earlier ordered for CBI enquiry when some allegations were levelled against his son YS Jaganmohan Reddy and proved his sincerity. People are suspecting the father and son duo,’’ he added.

“Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took U-turn with regard to special category status to come out from the discontent brewing against him, who was mum for the last four years in this regard,’’ Routh said.

YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been striving to get special category status for the past four years, he said and added that   YSRCP will fight until the central government accords status to the state.
