2 killed in separate road mishaps

Kadapa: Two persons were killed and another four injured in separate road accidents in the district on Monday. Y Balachinnamma (55), who was going to Porumamilla from Seetharamapuram along with her husband on a bike, has died when a RTC bus hit their motor cycle at Chinnayerasala village.

The deceased was the resident of Fathima Nagar in Porumamilla mandal headquarters. In another incident, one unidentified person was killed, and four others were injured when an auto in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary van belonging to the Global Engineering College.

The van was parked beside the road at ICL cement factory near Yerraguntla. Injured persons were shifted to the Area Hospital in Proddatur.
