Chandrababu Naidu mortgaged interests of State to Centre: Ummareddy
Eluru: YSRCP Legislative Council floor leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had mortgaged the interests of the State during the last four years with the BJP Government.
He stated that the people of the state do not believe in the words of Chandrababu who had campaigned during the last four years that a Special Package was better than the Special Category Status.
Ummareddy, who came to Eluru to participate in the protest of YSRCP and Left parties at the old bus stand here on Monday, told media that Andhra Pradesh future completely depended on the Special Status.
He pointed out that after YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy’s announcement on moving a no-confidence motion against the BJP government at Centre, the Chief Minister responded on the Special Status.
He flayed the Chief Minister for constantly changing his stand on key issues. MLC Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani) said Chief Minister Chandrababu had asked the BJP government at the Centre for the Special Package only and not status. He wondered how the Chief Minister asks his MPs to move a no-confidence motion against the BJP on Special Status now.
