Digital Radio X-ray machine inaugurated at King George Hospital

Visakhapatnam: Joint Collector DrGSrijanaon Monday inaugurated the Digital Radio X-ray machine (Model GU 60) and Ultrasound Machine (Model RS 80 A) at Radiology Department of King George Hospital (KGH). The equipment costingRstwo crore was donated by the Samsung India Electronics Private Ltd under its corporate social responsibility programme.

On the occasion, Srijana appreciated the hospital administration and Samsung representatives for providing X-ray and ultrasound equipment for poor patients attending KGH.

KGH Superintendent G Arjuna thanked the Samsung India Electronics DGM Rebecca and Deepika Kumar for donating the equipment to the hospital. He also appreciated Head of Radiology Department and hospital administrators and engineering wing, APMSIDC for their efforts in installation of the equipment.

Andhra Medical College Principal PV Sudhakar, Head of Radiology Department P Bujjibabu,KGH Deputy Superintendent V Dharma Rao, DrKSatyavaraprasad and VIMS Director KSLGSastry were present.
