Pawan, Jagan diverting issues: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu directed his party MPs to co-ordinate with all the floor leaders of parties in the Lok Sabha. Naidu held a teleconference with party leaders and MPs before the commencement of Parliament session on Tuesday.

Stating focus must be on demanding Special Category Status (SCS), the Chief Minister said BJP, YSRCP and Jana Sena had been blaming the TDP with ulterior motives. He said Pawan Kalyan was talking without having minimum knowledge on Polavaram.

“He said the state government claimed it would provide Rehabilitation and Resettlement package to the Polavaram victims, though the Central government wanted to take the responsibility. This is not at all correct,” explained Naidu.

Pawan Kalyan was misleading public and creating chaos in the state, he alleged. The Chief Minister accused YSRCP and Jana Sena of  continuously changing their stand and diverting the core issue.

“We are fighting for our legitimate rights. I don’t find anything wrong in it. What is the logic behind Pawan Kalyan’s statement on Modi that he did not promise SCS? He says that it was the promise of UPA government. Whose skin you are saving? What were the differences between me and Modi? Did Modi tell anything to you?,” he asked the Jana Sena chief.
