YSRCP forms human chain for Special Category Status

Vijayawada: A human chain was formed by YSRCP leaders and activists here at Lenin Centre on Mondayin support of no-confidence motion moved by YSRCP MPsfor according Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.

The YSRCP city publicity wing president Pothureddy Subba Reddy and Perla Sai Ram tonsured their heads and begged on the streets in support to the MPs protest.

MLC KogantlaVeerabhadra Swamy said both the TDP and the BJP were doing injustice to the five-crore people of Andhra Pradesh. He lashed out at Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for revolting against the NDA after four years of injustice done to the people. He said that SCS was possible only with YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy if he comes to power.

City president Vellampalli Srinivas said ChandrababuNaidu was unable to raise his voice against the BJP government fearing that the BJP would reopen ‘Cash for Vote’ case.

He predicted that Chandrababu will face the consequences in Cash for Vote case and said people are closely watching him for his double standards on the SCS.

City working president Malladi Vishnu said JaganmohanReddy  has been firm on the SCS for the people of AP since the beginning. He alleged that ChandrababuNaidu was instigating the people of AP against the BJP for his own benefits and not for SCS. He asked as to why Chief Minister did not move a no-confidence motion against the BJP till now on SCS and why he was moving it with the support of 18 MPs now. 

YSRCP state secretary Shaik Asif, additional secretary Srinivas Rao, other leaders M Durga Rao, Ch Suresh, B Vijay Kumar, MVR Chowdary, youth secretary T Rami Reddy and others participated in the programme.
