Narayana inspects pipeline shifting works

Guntur: Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana inspected drinking water pipeline shifting works at Anandpeta here on Tuesday and directed the officials to complete the works within the stipulated time. 

He also inspected silt removing works from the drains. He said they are collecting drinking water samples every day and completed super chlorination and added that they are changing drinking water pipelines in the Old City.

He further stated that special teams were removing silt from the side drains besides improving sanitation. He reminded  that they have already deputed officials from other municipalities to supervise the work and added that situation is  under control.

He said they are sending  a report to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu regularly. Director of Municipal Administration Kanna Babu also participated.
