Three die, 8 hurt as DCM van hits auto

Kurnool: Three persons were died on the spot and eight others sustained grievous injuries in a road mishap that took place at Peddakadabur mandal headquarters on Wednesday.  

The deceased have been identified as B Chandramma, 52, Chakali Sekhanna, 45 and K Narmadha,21. Narmadha, a native of Basavaladoddi village, was pursuing TTC course and the remaining two were farm labourers hailing from Buduru and Irangal villages. According to Peddakadabur police, 15 passengers who boarded an auto were said to be heading towards Yemmiganur from Peddakadabur village.

A DCM van with high-speed coming from the opposite direction hit the auto at Malapalli village. In the incident, three persons were died on the spot and eight others sustained injuries. The locals immediately shifted the injured to Yemmiganur general hospital.
