Intermediate student ends life

Kadapa: An Intermediate girl J Gayatri (17) committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house at Rayalaseema Thermal Power Station (RTPS) quarters in Yerraguntla mandal on Friday. She took extreme step in the absence of family members.

Neighbours, who came to know about her suicide, immediately alerted her father and was rushed to a private hospital but doctors declared she was brought dead.

The deceased studying Inter second year at Bhavana Junior College in Proddatur town. Her father J Srinivasa Reddy is working as head constable at RTPS in Yerraguntla. A case was registered.
