Amaravati: Construction of the MLA quarters would be completed by December this year and would have all amenities along with a waiting hall for the visitors.  In the MLA auarters, a clubhouse, swimming pool, a gym and all other high end amenities will be provided.

A day before taking up debate on Amaravati in the ongoing Budget session of Assembly, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu explained the progress in construction works to ministers, MLAs and MLCs in the Secretariat on Friday.

The debate on progress in construction of Amaravati city will take place on Saturday in Assembly, according to Assembly Secretariat sources.
The MLAs and ministers who were shown the designs of the upcoming MLA quarters, Assembly and Secretariat buildings during the meeting expressed their satisfaction over the designs.

“You all must collectively work to take the government schemes to the public. Companies such as Isuzu, Kia and Hero are willing to invest in the state and these are good signs for us,” said the Chief Minister.

“Our primary aim must be public welfare. If the people are satisfied with your work, we all will have our upcoming Assembly sessions in the new buildings,” Naidu told the ministers and legislators.
