If more industries were established in the state, employment opportunities would be generated in the state, he added. If the BJP government fails to give Special Status to the state, the people would teach a lesson in 2019 general elections, he warned.

Vasu also mentioned that the BJP leaders betrayed the people and citizens of Visakhapatnam after assuring many promises both to the state and the city. During the elections, the BJP leaders, including MP K Haribabu and MLC PVN Madhav, assured that the BJP government would give railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters. In fact, railway zone is a long pending   demand of the people of Visakhapatnam region.
