City gearing up for Global Yachting Fest

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam is gearing up to host the International Yachting Festival from March 28 to 31. Over 12 world famous luxury yachts are participating in the event, which is jointly being conducted by Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Visakhapatnam Port Trust and New Delhi-based event management company e-Factor.

Forty seven-feet Gypsea, 36 feet Sofia, 37 feet Nauca, 38 feet Sea Norita, 47 feet Fountain Pajot, 38 feet Dugdu and other world class yachts are participating in the event. On the first day on March 28. The yachts will cover four different routes in the sea every day. During the festival, the event managers have planned fun and exciting programmes, including fishing, adventure diving and blue water bath.

The cleaning of blue waters and harbour maintenance responsibilities being supervised by the Visakhapatnam Port Trust. The VPT is making elaborate arrangements to make the event a grand success. The district administration is also swung into action and making arrangements for the event.
