Chandrababu Calls All Party Meeting On Special Status

Close on the heels of YSR Congress Party MPs decision to quit their posts at the end of the budget session of Parliament, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called an all party meeting to prepare a political strategy on special status demand. The meeting will be held in AP Assembly premises Tuesday. 

Leaders said the meeting assumed political significance following the intensified fight for special status to Andhra Pradesh.  The meeting is likely to adopt an unanimous resolution by evolving consensus among all parties. The YSR Congress has been demanding ruling TDP MPs to quit their posts to the cause of Andhra people.  

As a mark of protest on Special status,  Chandrababu pulled out TDP from NDA and launched fight recentlly.
