House burgled 

Eluru: Burglars entered a house at Jalipudi village in Eluru mandal on Sunday in the early hours of Sunday and decamped with 15 sovereigns of gold ornaments. According to police, Koneru Naga Venkata Satish of Jalipudi, along with his family members, went to Vijayawada to attend a function.

Taking the opportunity, some burglars entered the house by broke opening the main door. They ransacked the house and decamped with 15 sovereigns of gold jewellery worth Rs 1.80 lakhs, police said. Rural SI Nagendra Prasad registered a case.
