IndiGo attracts passengers’ ire

Vijayawada: IndiGo Airlines passengers, who are scheduled to travel to Bengaluru, vented their ire at the officials  at the Vijayawada Airport in Gannavaram on Thursday  for cancellation of Vijayawada-Bengaluru flight service. 

The airlines cancelled the service due to bursting of tyre of one of its flights at Shamshabad Airport in  Hyderabad Wednesday night. IndiGo services rescheduled some flights and could not operate service from Vijayawada to Bengaluru on Thursday. 

But, 70-odd passengers scheduled to travel in the flight from Gannavaram to Bengaluru expressed anger at the IndiGo Airlines staff alleging that they had not informed them earlier. Later, the airport authorities made arrangements to travel in other flights to Bengaluru. 

Airport director G Madhusudan Rao told The Hans India that all passengers had left for Bengaluru in other flights.
