Inter-port bunker facility

Visakhapatnam: AP IV Act, which was introduced by the state government recently to encourage the coastal trade, the Bunker Barge Rajeshree, which belongs to KAN Enterprises, was registered under IV Act, carried out the first bunker delivery of 700MT FO 380CST by GP GLOBAL (INDIA) from Visakhapatnam port to  Gangavaram port to the vessel MV BERGE WEISSHORN Earlier, bunker supplies at Gangavaram port have been carried out at berth by tank trucks, a much slower delivery method suitable only for smaller quantities. 

The GP GLobal achieved another milestone by making the first of its bunker supply by barge at Gangavaram port. The unprecedented support and cooperation extended from Vizag port and Gangavaram port in carrying out a hassle-free smooth operation is commendable.

Rajeshree owned by KAN Enterprises can carry 1,500 mt of fuel oil and has the ability of providing world-class service. Being IRS class barge and the first to get registered under AP IV Act made milestone for the inter-port bunker supply.
