Prakasam police receive second prize in ABCD awards

Ongole: The Prakasam district police received the second prize for the Above and Beyond Call of Duty (ABCD) awards announced for the January and February months. DGP M Malakondaiah presented the award to Ongole DSP B Srinivasa Rao and his team on Thursday at police headquarters in Vijayawada for solving the kidnap case of a boy with in seven hours. Superintendent of Police Satya Yesubabu said that the DGP announced the awards as a special recognition for the contribution of police officers in solving the cases with the talent. 

Ongole DSP Srinivasarao, One Town CI Md Firoz, SI Nayab Rasool, constables Ahmed Basha, Vignesh, IT Core team in- charge  K Ravi, Janardhan and Raju received the award from the DGP, including a reward of Rs 60,000. He said that the district police received four ABCD awards in the last four months for the excellence in service.
