Boy dies as wall caves in

Guntur: A  three-year-old boy died when the compound wall fell on him at Chandrababu Naidu Colony on Ponnur Road in the city on Friday. The Guntur Municipal Corporation was replacing the old drinking water pipelines due to contamination of drinking water. While digging the pits with the JCB, it accidentally hit the compound wall of the house. 

A  portion of the compound wall fell on the boy who is playing  in the  house. The boy was seriously injured and shifted to the GGH
where doctors declared him brought dead. Boy’s father Chiranjeevi lodged a complaint with the Lalalapet Police Station against the
Guntur Municipal Corporation. The police registered a case and took up investigation.
