Vital Labs donates `10 crore to SVIMS

Tirupati: Vital Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, has donated Rs 10 crore to Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasidini Scheme (SBAVPS) of SVIMS on Saturday, said the Director-cum-Vice Chancellor Prof T S Ravikumar. 

The donation was sent through online banking (RTGS) system. Rajiv Shrigopal Bajaj of Vital Laboratories has already donated Rs 12 crore last year for building Centre for Advanced Research (CfAR) which has been completed and will be operational in stages soon, once the equipments are procured.

The present donation of Rs.10 crore was proposed to utilise for building state of the art Critical Care unit at SVIMS and establish excellence through global collaborations. “Critically ill need seamless continuum of care of high order to save lives. This funding will be a significant step towards this cause in saving lives”, Dr Ravikumar maintained.
