15 hurt in mishap

Vijayawada: Fifteen persons were injured in a road accident near Akkireddigudem in Musunuru mandal in Krishna district on Friday night.   

According to Musnuru police, 15 passengers were going to attend a spiritual programme from Musunuru village to East Godavari when Tata Ace vehicle reached Akkireddigudem the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve and as a result it overturned.  

Four passengers sustained multiple injuries and 11 of them suffered minor injuries. The injured persons were shifted to the Nuzvid government hospital and they were out of danger, said police. Musunuru police are investigating the case.
