Naidu flayed over proposal to issue bonds for capital construction
Vijayawada: YSRCP official spokesperson and former MLA Jogi Ramesh came down heavily on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh for the recent proposal made by the Chief Minister to issue bonds to collect funds for construction of the capital Amaravati.
Addressing media conference at the party State office on Saturday, Jogi Ramesh alleged that the TDP Ministers, MLAs and leaders have already looted the State and were now hatching another plot to rob the farmers by offering bonds. He found fault with the proposal made by Chief Minister to offer bonds to the people for construction of the capital. Ramesh questioned why people should take bonds and farmers give paddy to the government.
He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had already cheated the farmers of Amaravati region by taking away their lands and not developing the infrastructure facilities as he announced. He said farmers gave thousands of acres of valuable lands with a hope of getting back their land after infrastructure development.
