‘Provide drinking water 24x7 during summer’

Vizianagaram: Minister for Mines and Geology RVSK Ranga Rao directed the engineers and staff of rural water supply department to take steps to supply drinking water 24 hours during the summer. The Minister, along with Zilla Parishad Chairperson Dr S Swathirani, participated at the general body meeting of Zilla Parishad here on Saturday. 

Speaking at the meeting, he suggested to officials concerned to work in tandem to tackle the drinking water crisis in summer. He directed the medical and health department officials to make ORS packets and other medicines available to treat those who suffer from sunstroke.
