CM to inaugurate CFMS today
Amaravati: As part of efforts to establish an effective Public Finance Management, the State government has decided to establish a Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS), which would provide seamless and dynamic interface with all stakeholders and facilitate effective financial management.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the new system on April 2 at a programme at the Grievance Hall at Undavalli. As per the directions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the Finance Department has decided to hold training classes from April 15 for selected staff in government departments on the new Comprehensive Financial Management System. The Finance Department is in the process of operationalising the Comprehensive Financial Management System, which is being implemented on the SAP backbone.
Andhra Pradesh Centre for Financial Systems and Services (APCFSS) has already been declared the nodal agency for undertaking the end to end tasks and providing support. It will also take care of the maintenance of the application.
