Chandrababu pats Maganti Jahnavi who set Guinness World Record
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Guinness world record holder Maganti Jahnavi for the largest painting of 141.75 metres painted on canvas.
Jahnavi along with her parents met the Chief Minister at the latter’s residence at Undavalli on Sunday.
The Chief Minister congratulated Jahnavi for surpassing the previous Guinness record of painting on 100 metres. Jahnavi’s painting has three rose flowers, leaves on the canvas, which is more than half the size of a tennis court.
Naidu advised her to practice more in the field of painting and create new records. Naidu suggested to Jahnavi to serve the nation after completing her education in the UK. Later the Chief Minister and his wife Bhuvaneswari felicitated Jahnavi. They presented her a shawl and a memento.
Jahnavi is the daughter of M Balaram Krishna and is pursuing BSc (Electronics), Industrial Organisation in Britain. Since her childhood she has been good at painting, singing and classical dance.
She is more inclined towards painting and with more practice she can create new records.
She created this world record by painting at Lanco Hills, Hyderabad.
The same was sent to Guinness world record organizers and she bagged the award.
