Imtiaz takes charge as new JC

 Guntur: A Md Imtiaz took charge as joint collector of Guntur district on Monday. The government transferred him from Nellore district as Guntur district joint collector after Kristhika Shukla went on maternity leave.

Speaking to media after taking charge, Imtiaz said that he will be within the reach of people and try to solve their problems. Later, he participated in Meekosam programme conducted by the district administration to receive petitions from public at the ZP hall. After that, he held a meeting with the officials.

Earlier, Imtiaz worked in the district as a deputy commissioner of commercial taxes in Guntur city. Later, he was conferred IAS and went to Mussorie for training. Later, he was posted as joint of collector of Nellore district.
