Roja demands justice to Munikoti's family

Chittoor district collector Pradyumna has assured that justice would be done to the family of Munikoti, who immolated self demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh. 

Munikoti died on August 9, 2015 and minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy had then announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of Munikoti. However, the assurance was soon forgotten and the file pertaining to the ex-gratia was caught in the red-tape. 

Following media reports about the unfulfilled assurances, YSRCP senior leader and Nagari MLA RK Roja took up the issue and asked the district collector to do justice to Munikoti’s family.

Responding to Roja’s request, the collector said that justice would be done in a week.
