TDP Announces Action Plan

With the Parliament set to adjourn sine die on Friday, the TDP has decided to take up massive programmes to protest against the failure of the central government to accord special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who held a meeting with senior ministers on Thursday evening decided to hold a cycle rally on Friday morning at 8 am to AP Assembly. This would be followed by another round of all party meeting on Saturday at 2.30 pm and from next week onwards, the party will take out Bus Yatra known as Andhrula Atma Gaurvam Yatra across the state and will hold public meetings at all district headquarters where all party leaders will also be invited. TDP wants to put up a joint show of strength, minister Kala Venkat Rao told media.
