Organised belt shops gang busted

Srikakulam: The enforcement wing officials of excise department busted organised belt shops gang at Chapuram village in Srikakulam rural mandal on Saturday. 

They arrested 14 persons in connection with the crime. According to enforcement wing assistant commissioner B Srinivasulu, the accused were mixing cheap liquor in branded bottles and used to supply it to various belt shops in Etcherla, Srikakulam, Gara, Narasannapeta,Jalumuru, Polaki, Pathapatnam, Amudalavalasa, Palakonda, Kotabommali, Sompeta and Palasa mandals across the district. 

The arreted were identified as J Madhusudan Rao, K Srinivas Rao, M Laxmiprasad, B Gopalakrishna,  P Manmadha Rao, P Ratnateja, V Sairaj, K Purnachandra Rao, V Rudra Raju, K Srinivasa Rao, P Satyanarayana, B Srirammurthy, KNarasimhulu and  P Muralidhar.
