Probe held on quality of works in VSU

Nellore: A three-member team visited Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) on Saturday in connection with complaints against quality issues of structures in the varsity. 

Based on the complaint lodged by the varsity students, the state government constituted a three-member team on February 28 this year with retired IAS officer CBS Venkata Ramana, SE of the APEWIDC Syamsundar Reddy and Registrar of the varsity for looking into the issues. 

CBS Venkata Ramana visited the campus at Kakuturu and enquired with the Vice-Chancellor Prof V Veeraiah, and others. The team members also verified the documents related to the construction works and collected information from the senior officials.  They said the team would visit the VSU on few more occasions for a probe on the issues and asked to send the details regarding works taken up by the authorities in the campus.
