Mega medical camp at Narspur by ONGC
Narsapuram: ONGC Rajahmundry Asset has organised a mega medical camp commemorating 127th, Birth Anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, to render the medical speciality services on Tuesday at company’s Temple Land premises in Narsapur. The camp was coordinated by ONGC All India SCST Employees Welfare Association, Rajahmundry and Petroleum Employees Union.
The speciality consultations included Cardiac, Pulmonology, Dermatologists, Ophthalmologists, Dental, Gynecologist, and General Medicine. Around five hundred ONGC contractual employees and their families, Jattu labour, school children and local people of Narsapur consulted the doctors at the camp.
In his inaugural address, DMR Sekhar, Executive Director (Asset Manager), Rajahmundry Asset said, ONGC is committed to improving the health index of the communities in the operational areas. As part of its CSR initiatives, he informed that the Rajahmundry Asset had spent around 15 crores during the financial year 2017-18 in the East, West and Krishna Districts.
