A thief arrested 6 sovereigns gold recovered

Eluru: Nallajerla Police arrested a thief at Nallajerla centre on Wednesday and recovered six sovereigns of gold ornaments from him.

Tadepalligudem rural CI N Rajasekhar told media at Nallajerla Police station, that Kambaku Venkata Ramana of Jangareddigudem was indulged in day-light breaking of houses over the last few years. He committed one offence in Nallajerla, one in Dwarka Tirumala recently. 

When he was reached Nallajerla centre to sell the gold ornaments, the police trapped him and arrested, he added. About 17 cases are pending on the accused, CI said. Nallajerla SI Chandra Sekhar participated in the meeting.
