AP CM to launch e-Pragati portal
Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to launch the e-Pragati portal which will have eight services on the core platform for the departments of panchayat raj, R&B, school education, intermediate education, agriculture marketing and RERA on April 12. On that day, apps will also be launched to digitise services in these departments.
The decision was announced at a review meeting on the progress of e-Pragati and the road-maps of development of different services, at the Grievance Cell near his residence at Undavalli in Guntur on Tuesday.
The Portal will be developed further to start rendering services. On April 27, services in the Certificate-less Government System will be launched, including marriage certificate, online soil health cards, caste certificate and digi-locker.
Officials have also reported that the audits for all departments will be completed in June and presented the phase-wise plan to Chandrababu Naidu at the meeting.
In the School Education department, online registration to recognise educational institutions and applications for establishment of new technical institutions are currently being developed. In addition, the Complete Student Life Cycle Management will be ready for launch, digitising all procedures of a student-life, including admissions, certificates, examination management and hostel management.
Other services which will be launched in this domain are the uberisation of tutors, tutorials and content, the delivery of scholarships, benefits and loan management and the upskilling and capacity building of teachers.
To assess the productivity and progress of digital transformation, officials presented the parameters: single access, omni-channel, single source of truth, minimal clicks, rendering of services and improved productivity.
The Chief Minister said that officials should take features of the index created by NITI Aayog and create a practical model to assess the digital transformation of the Andhra Pradesh Government. Principal Secretary GSai Prasad, IT Advisor JSatyanarayana, IT Secretary KVijayanand, RTG CEO Ahmed Babu and e-Pragati CEO N Balasubramanyam were present at the meeting.
