Amaravati to be a happy city: Chandrababu

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that efforts were on to transform Amaravati into a city of happiness and joy. 

Talking to Happy Cities Conference at Amaravati, he said several cities across the world were making efforts to transform themselves into happy cities to ensure a peaceful and happy atmosphere for the people. Cities in Finland and Singapore were role models in this regard, he added.

Stating that Amaravati is being developed to enable a large number of people to live there, he said efforts were on to improve the living standards of the people in the state of Andhra Pradesh and that the government was trying to provide livable and enjoyable habitations to the people and assured that the city of Amaravati would be a happy city of high standards.
