TDP will fight for SCS: Galla

Guntur: MP Galla Jayadev offered lemon juice to Zilla Parishad Chairperson Janimun to withdraw her relay fast on Friday. She launched the relay fast on the Zilla Parishad premises to mount pressure on the Centre for Special Category Status.

Speaking on the occasion, Galla Jayadev said that SCS is right of the people and they will continue their agitation till they get it. He slammed the BJP-led NDA government for cheating the people of the state and reminded that the TDP MPs protested in Parliament. 

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Shaik Janimun said that development is possible with the SCS and criticised that the Centre had totally failed to keep up its assurances mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act and warned that the people are watching the attitude of BJP government at the Centre.

Earlie,r MLC Dokka Manikya Varaprasad, Rayapati Ranga Rao, Gafar and Telugu Yuvata leaders Venkata Sai took out a motor bike rally from NTR statue at RTC Bus Stand to Zilla Parishad premises.
