VSU students to meet Guv on varsity issues
Nellore: Students of Vikrama Simhapuri University will meet Governor over the irregularities being reported in recruitment of faculty members. VSU Students Federation members met here on Saturday and decided to approach the Governor.
They explained that they had met Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and explained him about the situation in the varsity. Subsequently, the state government had appointed a committee to probe the irregularities and the varsity top officials managed not to conduct any enquiry during regime of the then Vice Chancellor, they said. Now, even though new registrar has been appointed for the varsity, there has been no action against the enquiry on the previous irregularities.So, they are planning to approach the Governor who holds the responsibility of Chancellor, seeking his intervention, said J Sudheer, a scholar and president of the VSU Students Federation.
