Jagan assures support to DWCRA women
Vijayawada: YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that he would extend help to DWACRA women. As part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Tuesday, Jagan visited several villages from Gopavaram Gudem to Davaji Gudem in Gannavaram constituency.
During the Yatra, DWACRA women met him and complained that widow pensions were not being sanctioned to the eligible persons. They also said that they were receiving notices from banks for the DWACRA loans. They pointed out that the government assured them loan waiver. Besides, the MPTC members from Scheduled Classes met him and requested him to protect their rights.
Giving assurance to the victims of AgriGold scam, he said that he would do justice to them if he comes to power. He also said that he would take initiative to revive the old pension scheme. He suggested the employees to fight for their genuine cause and his party would extend support to them.
The villagers met and requested him to construct the retaining wall to Brahmalingaiah tank. He assured them that he would solve the problem. He alleged that leaders of the ruling Telugu Desam Party were earning money illegally by selling clay from the public utility tank.
He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was staging fake protests for protecting his own political interests. Chandrababu Naidu who remained silent for four years is now raising slogans on the Special Category Status, he said. Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would visit several villages in Gannavaram constituency on Wednesday also, said YSR Congress State secretary Talasila Raghuram.
